The Flow Thru Regulator (FTR)
was developed for a return style system with some unique packaging
advantages. With the inlet on the bottom and the bypass out the top,
pocket machining or stamping is fairly simple. Because of this fuel
flow path and the lack of a vacuum reference, this type of regulator
is well suited for marine inboard applications.
This regulator is constructed of low carbon steel with corrosion
resistant plating options to suit the customer’s application. It is
available with or without an axial fuel bypass tube.
The O-rings for the FTR are not captured, so they must be installed
separately. Synerject can supply appropriately sized fluorocarbon
O-rings for correct installation into our recommended pocket geometry. |
