The Integral Returnless
Regulator (IRR) is a “demand” style regulator. It was designed for a
returnless fuel system with the intention of being fuel rail mounted.
The IRR system requires a pressure relief valve in the tank to set the
fuel pressure approximately 75 kPa above the target system pressure.
The IRR then does the final pressure regulation step down as the
engine “demands” fuel.
The IRR is available with or without an axial or side vacuum reference
tube. The O-rings are captured on this regulator, and fluorocarbon
O-rings are installed on the delivered product.
